Wild Horse Tutorial - Module 5

Module 5 - Herd Diet

What do wild horses eat?

Wild horses mostly eat (graze) grass; however, they can also browse for leaves, buds, fruits, and even roots. They spend at least 60 percent of their day and night grazing, and if food is hard to find, they will spend 80 percent of their time grazing.
